Using your ritual oil for the first time?

When working with your ritual oil for the first time, you need to familiarize yourself with its specific energy field by meditating with it and asking some questions.

Before you begin, prepare your sacred space and have your oil, notebook/paper, pen or pencil next to you to record your experience, and then follow the steps below:

𓂀

  • Set up a quiet spot inside or outside your home where you won't be disturbed.

    Step 1

  • Close your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply until you feel centered.

    Step 2

  • Ground yourself by imagining deep, strong roots, like those of a tree growing from the base of your body to the heart of the Earth at the center. This will help ground you and stop you from getting lost in the distractions around you. Don't rush this step.

    Step 3

  • Visualize a sphere of bright, protective white light surrounding you completely, reaching below your feet, above your head, and around your back. Feel closed inside.

    Step 4

  • State your intention – what you want to achieve during your oil work, such as understanding the energy, the purpose of the oil, or simply introducing yourself to it.

    Step 5

  • Take your oil, remove the cap and smell the oil, inhaling slowly and deeply without touching your nose to the glass. You can also drip it onto your skin and open it by rubbing the skin gently.

    Step 6

  • Ask the oil for permission to work with it and receive its wisdom.

    Step 7

  • Let the oil speak to you. Explore the feelings, emotions and memories that come to you, noticing any shapes or singularities that appear in your mind or other sensations that arise in your body.

    Step 8

  • Now you are ready to ask the following questions: What can you teach me? What do I need to release? What gift do you have for me? What messages can you share with me?

    Step 9

  • Check your physical body to see if you have any sensations, such as heat, chills, or tingling, and in which part of your body you are feeling them. Write down everything that happens, including everything you can feel and see.

    Step 10

  • Listen with your heart and body (not your mind) to understand what the oil is telling you. Write down the information as soon as you can. If you were given any symbols to work with, write them down as well.

    Step 11

  • When you have gathered as much information as possible (or are ready to end the meditation), thank the oil and focus once again on your breathing, gently turning your ankles, wrists, and stroking your arms and legs.

    Step 12

  • If your intention is not stated, there will only be limited potential for your collaboration and relationship with your oil.

    Step 13

  • Sometimes ritual oils will inform us if they prefer to work with our higher intelligence (higher self or spirit) to teach us deeper and more complex mysteries.

    Step 14

  • Continue to develop your relationship with your oil from this moment whenever you feel it. Remember to always have your journal to capture as many insights and sensations as you can. You may initially receive information that seems disjointed or difficult to interpret, but over time, your notes will reveal a powerful message that can only be decoded by you.

End. Blessings in your oil relationship.
